Christopher Neault, MSPT
Chris is a native of South Portland, Maine. He earned his Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University in 2003. After spending some time working at a local outpatient occupational health clinic, he relocated to Boca Raton, Florida, where he spent over five years treating patients at the renowned Palm Beach Institute of Sports Medicine. It was there that he gained a wealth of knowledge, and treated patients alongside some of the most well-respected therapists in the country. He returned to Maine in 2009 to continue his life and professional career.
He has evaluated and treated clients spanning from age five to one hundred-plus, covering a broad spectrum of diagnoses. He has extensive clinical experience with the treatment of professional, Olympic, collegiate, and high school athletes. Chris utilizes his knowledge and expertise to develop a comprehensive treatment program that includes manual therapy, but focuses primarily on active, corrective exercise and movement retraining. He is trained in many treatment and evaluative techniques, including Mulligan, FMS, SFMA, Myofascial Release, DNS, PRI, ART, and Graston, and is certified in casting for Sole Supports custom orthotics. He has a particular interest in the rehabilitation of the overhead athlete and hockey players. He also is well versed in the treatment of all athletic injuries to the shoulder, foot, ankle, and knee. He is considered to be particularly skilled at the treatment of difficult pre and post surgical shoulders and knees, Thoracic Outlet, and chronic spine pain as well.
He lives locally with his wife Melissa and daughter Olivia, as well as their two dogs – Golden Retrievers Zoey and Kota. He enjoys playing men’s league ice hockey, softball, baseball, golf, fishing, camping, mountain biking, and cooking with his wife. He is able to ski if required, but his winter sport of choice is pond hockey.
