Physician Assistant

Bernadette Shaw is a certified physician assistant with a special interest in sports medicine and clinical research. Bernadette is actively managing clinical trials evaluating new medical technologies to support improved patient outcomes. She has been with OA since 2008 and works closely with Dr. Thomas Murray to support patients in all stages of care from prevention, intervention and recovery.

“I love getting to know my patients and working with them to reach their individual goals. I especially enjoy managing osteoarthritis, guiding patients through the pre- and postoperative period and working with athletes to get them back to their sport. I like to incorporate patient education and injury prevention in my practice.”
