Adam Liegner, MD
Dr. Liegner grew up just north of New York City and attended Trinity College in Hartford, CT where he earned a bachelor’s degree in History. After living and working in New York City for a couple of years he returned to school to complete his premedical studies at New York University. He earned a Master in Public Health at The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice prior to attending SUNY Upstate Medical University for medical school. He completed residency in Family Medicine at Maine Medical Center during which time he developed an interest in Sports Medicine. He is excited to be staying on to complete his fellowship training at MMC, where he will serve as team physician for St. Joseph’s College and Gorham High School. Away from work, Dr. Liegner enjoys spending time with his fiancée Carolyn, stand-up paddle boarding, and fishing.
