Vascular and interventional radiology (VIR or IR) provides cutting-edge treatments for many conditions, including uterine fibroids, cancer, and peripheral arterial disease. Our dedicated team of vascular and interventional physicians uses ultrasound, x-rays, fluoroscopy or CT scanning to guide catheters, needles or other devices to the treatment site. Instead of the large incisions required by traditional open surgery, VIR procedures are performed through small, often tiny incisions. As a result, you benefit from:
